For the eighth year, the museum offers a non-scary "spooky" Halloween event for families with kids ages 12 and under.

Come dressed as your favorite character or wild animal.

 

  • Enjoy live animal shows featuring fierce and not-so-fierce critters.
  • Solve the Mystery of the Nighttime Forest on our boardwalk..
  • Hearspooky tales of Halloween from the Storytelling Witch.
  • Discover pumpkin carving secrets from the Pumpkin Lady® as seen on Good Morning America .
  • Perform magic with the Museum's own Wizard.
  • Meet some Jamestown Buccaneers, search for gold in the Maze .
  • Find out your fortune from the Fortune-telling Gypsies.
  • Experience a special Halloween presentation in the planetarium.
  • Observe the Halloween night sky from our observatory and viewing deck (weather permitting).
  • Join us for treats in our new cafe.
  • Make creepy crafts and play Halloween games.
  • Enjoy trick-or-treating for kids throughout the event.

Admission: Adults $9.00, children $7.00

Advance tickets $1.00 off; full price day of the event.
